My recent stay at Hump Backpackers was fantastic. The hostel was conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy for us to explore the city. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Additionally, the hostel offered a variety of fun activities and events for guests to enjoy, adding to the overall experience. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, I would definitely recommend Hump Backpackers for an enjoyable and budget-friendly stay in Sydney. I had a great time and would happily stay there again.

Location Cheap but now I know why!
Dirty, smelly, poor staff, Party all the time so you can't sleep even for few hours, Beds are awful, internet connexion not working, Common area like kitchen courtyard or tv room, bathroom could not be use dirty smelly!!! Really, each time I went through the corridor I thought I will vomite! Don't book there unless you are party animal not taking care about hygiene and looking for cheap accomodation.

The beds at Hump Backpackers were surprisingly comfortable, allowing us to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the Blue Room was a great space to relax and unwind. The location was also convenient, as it was near the train station and within walking distance of various attractions in the area. I would recommend this hostel for its value and basic accommodation.

Free wifi
It was my worst stay ever. It was dirty, there were ants all over the room and don't want to know which other animals. The bed was very uncomfortable and you don't want to eat anything out of the kitchen. It was very noisy at night because you live in directly in a "party street" and the windows were open all the time, because it was so hot. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

We absolutely loved our stay at this place! The location couldn't have been better - it was right opposite the train station in the city center. Getting around was a breeze, and we were just a stone's throw away from all the action in Kings Cross. The staff here were so friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay. The daily program of activities was a real highlight, with BBQs, drinks, and even entry to pubs and movie nights. We never had a dull moment!
We would highly recommend this place to our family and friends.

Free breakfast and very good location
In my room there were people staying for a long time, so it was untidy and dirty. Also the door handle was forced and we slept one night with the door open...

During our Easter break, we enjoyed two complementary activities that were offered. the location was great, being close to public transportation and local attractions.
The bathrooms were in poor condition and in need of attention. the kitchen was quite small and not properly equipped.

This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is unbeatable, being in the city center and right opposite the train station in Kings Cross. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The rooms are comfortable, especially the ones with double beds and mattress-like cushions on two levels. And the breakfast is a delight, with delicious pancakes provided and a range of options to choose from.
The cleanliness could be improved.

The location of this hostel is pretty convenient, as it is close to King Cross train station and easy to get around. It is just next to the station, so it's easy to walk there. it seems that staff are friendly, according to reviews, so that is a plus.
The cleanliness of the bathrooms seems to be a recurring issue mentioned in the reviews, and it sounds like the kitchen is also quite dirty.
